READYGO SERVER-SIDE TESTING 3.0
Automatically Creates Student Certificates

Certificate Generation, Test Time Tracking, Centralized User Lists
and Test Question Pooling Among New Features

Mountain View, CA (October 14, 2002) -- ReadyGo, Inc. creator of the easiest and fastest authoring tool for building e-Learning web courses, today announced the availability of Server-Side Testing (SST) 3.0. The new version delivers significant new capabilities requested by users, including certificate generation, time tracking, centralized user lists, and test question pooling. SST is the tracking and reporting component of the ReadyGo product suite and the companion product to the ReadyGo Web Course Builder, a popular web authoring tool for creating eLearning courses.

"Sometimes, simple features can save trainers and corporations both time and money," said Anita Rosen, CEO of ReadyGo, Inc. "Our upgrades are always based on what our customers request."

Automatic Certificate Generation, Courselet Trend
Once a student meets the specified completion time on a course, a certificate can be created automatically and printed out for each student. Course creators can customize the certificate feature for each course.

Several new features have been incorporated to meet increasing customer demand for "courselets" -- abbreviated training sessions of 10 to 15 minutes. Most trainers are tasked with accomplishing training with as little impact on daily operations as possible. This new trend toward "courselets" tends to focus the user's attention and is also more easily referred to for quick updates. It also demands that testing time be monitored.

The new SST 3.0 test tracking feature meets this need. In conjunction with the new "jump off" feature, instructors can ensure that those testing spend only the allotted time on a test and can easily set up an alternate "next" page based on the student's score.

The centralized user list function of SST 3.0 streamlines situations in which students take multiple courses, enabling administrators to manage those courses with a single file. This file lists all students who are permitted to take a specific group of courses/tests.

With test question pooling, the computer randomly selects a set number of questions -- say, 10 out of 100. This helps ensure the integrity of the testing process.

New Reporting Features
A number of new reports are available with SST 3.0. Course statistics indicate at a glance how many students have tested, and how many remain to be tested. Instructors can now also track the grading curve.
